Hurricane Isaac Insurance Claim – Money Lawsuit and Advice

Share

Hi Loyal Readers,

I don’t have to rehash what happened to the New Orleans Metropolitan area this past week with Hurricane Isaac. Outside of the Federal Levee System, the surrounding Parishes including Plaquemines Parish, St. Charles Parish, St. John Parish, Terrebonne Parish, Lafourche Parish, and others sustained massive amounts of flood damage. The damages were very extensive in Braithwaite, where many people lost their entire homes due to a break and breach in the Parish Levee system. Within the Levee system, over eighty-five (85%) of people still do not have power from the electric provider Entergy. To add insult to injury, it is unbelievable that this event occurred on the seven year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina which took the lives of over one thousand people.

For all homeowners, property owners, and business owners in the New Orleans and surrounding area, you probably have and need to file an Isaac insurance claim. This is why homeowner’s insurance, flood insurance, renter’s insurance, and business interruption insurance exists. It is there to protect you in the event you have property damage from Hurricane Isaac, business or profit loss from the hurricane, or flood damages.

Here at our firm, we have assisted many clients in the past pursue their homeowner’s and flood insurance claims and lawsuits. We provide a complete process to take care of the notification, processing, evaluation, and settlement of your Isaac hurricane insurance loss and claim. We provide a FREE CONSULTATION for you to meet us and I will walk you through our process which is designed to maximize your property insurance or business insurance claim.

If you had property damages or flood damages, you need to do the following things:

1) Take Pictures and Videos of ALL damages. This includes water coming in from the outside, through windows, roof systems, exterior areas, and more. We will need this to prove your claim. Do not start repairing damages or it may impact your legal rights later;

2) Find your Isaac Homeowner’s Insurance Policy or Isaac Flood Insurance Policy. We will need this to determine your insurance limits and coverage;

3) If you already contacted your insurance carrier because of Hurricane Isaac, we advise you not to sign any type of settlement until you have had one of our third party adjusters and engineers evaluate your damages and loss. Keep in mind, your adjusted damages and loss from the adjuster may not adequately compensate you for your damages. You may have no idea about this as you accept a check and money from your insurance company;

4) Go Here and Fill in Our Issac Hurricane Claim Form: https://www.lawyerlahatte.com/?page_id=151

Once we meet with you, we will start your claim process. We will employ an adjuster and possibly an engineer to quantify and measure your money damages. We are always available to discuss your claim. I am a local, New Orleans lawyer and I understand your current situation. Please feel free to contact me at anytime at our phone number or email below. I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
